Renzo Piano

Born in 1937, architect and life senator of the Italian Republic Renzo Piano has imagined, designed and built nearly 20 museums in his career. In the course of the museums he has helped build, Piano has developed a real aesthetic: the museum must be sober, using filters to produce a zenithal lighting, optimal for the presentation of works. Renzo Piano won the most prestigious prize in architecture, the Pritzker, in 1998.
